If the Temporary Internet Files folder in Internet Explorer has been moved from its original location, plus both Protected Mode and the Phishing Filter are enabled, the ieframe.dll error will occur. Sometimes the domain administrators set windows policies for all users which will set fixed options in internet explorer which may have the option checked. In this case even if we change the option, on next login it will reset the option. In your case if it is grayed out, most likely it is related to admin privileges on the computer.

Both Microsoft and Mozilla credited Qihoo 360, a China-based security research team, with finding flaws under active attack.
